I've got books, but there's nothing like a tutorial cook-book type site any recommendations? I like the sites that have slight shadows around the edges of the main table/layer/frame

Re: Recommend a CSS Tutorial Site?
Tue, December 18, 2007 - 7:02 PMI adore this site:
www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp
It's great for css, html and js.
This site has a ton of good info on it:
www.quirksmode.org/css/contents.html
I'm a javascript newbie and it's been immensely good to me.
And, for more complicated stuff + lots of usability/accessibility info and other general stuff:
www.alistapart.com/
Their archive has a lot of how tos on doing cool design things accessibly and well. -

Re: Recommend a CSS Tutorial Site?
Fri, December 21, 2007 - 10:57 AMCowboy angel - I would have to recommend taking a look at the CSS Zen Garden. There aren't 'tutorials' in the traditional sense - but you can download and view the source code.
www.csszengarden.com/
Otherwise, there's lynda.com, quality videos tutorials - I haven't used them much myself 'cause you gotta pay cash...
movielibrary.lynda.com/html/m...ing.asp
Good luck. CSS is the.......future....
