Are META Keywords case sensitive?

For example, is "new year" the same as "New Year"?

    yes, those two are the same, but don't sweat it. If you are trying to so SEO, there are other far more important tags and things to be optimizing.

    Also, the fact that meta KW is case-insensitive is not a matter of the tag itself, but how search engines treat it. Don't forget plurals and misspelling(s)!
